It does have scuffs has white spots on the side of briefcase that is able to be found all over the brief case. Inside has pen markings from most likely pens being loose inside, I took off the bedding and to find a what it appears and old sticky floor, that part is not suppose to be showing so I put the bedding back on. The bedding might be suede. Briefcase is still in good condition, despite these problems, but please be cautious that the outside has plenty of scuffs and scratches inside and out.
